California Redwoods via Wine country

We arrived late in San Fran grabbed our rental car and headed to Napa. We camped at the Skyline park that night and drifted off to sleep to the sounds of owls and some other aggressive animal grunts by the river. We woke the next morning and headed to the farmers market at Napa's Oxbow Market. Sipped coffee that was too good for milk at Ritual coffee, and ate breakfast at the yummy place on the corner. Sean and I can't remember the name. er

While in the region we tasted at Judd's Hill, Domain Carneros, Kunde, Mantazanas, Red Car, Graton Ridge, Iron Horse, Moshin Vinyards, Mumm, Robert Synskey, Regusci

Our favorite tasting was done at Mantazanas. The grounds were incredible and Ira was sweet.

Lavender fields at Matazanas

In Sanoma we visited Kunde Winery & Vineyards.
This place is where the movie 'Bottle Shock' was filmed.

Patio at Domain Carneros.. yummy smoked salmon

Iron Horse. Just outside Sebastapool enroute to the Russian River valley.
Low key unpretentious outdoor tasting room serving mostly bubbles.

After many distractions (tastings) we arrived in the redwoods.. Chasing the sun.

Our campground in Elk Prarie Meadow
